Kadi Badiou is a visual artist and scenographer. Born and raised in Winnipeg, she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours Degree from the University of Manitoba with a focus on printmaking, painting and sculpture (2017). In Winnipeg she held various positions in the arts and culture sector and showed her work in a number of exhibitions.

In 2019, she relocated to Toronto where she completed the Design for Art & Entertainment Certificate from Toronto Metropolitan University. She was selected for and graduated from the DGC’s Guild Apprentice Program, Art Department with a focus on set design (2021). She is also an associate member of ADC 659.

Kadi is passionate about creating environments whether it be in the form of an abstract art installation, a theatre stage, or a film set.
